Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) for the state of Maryland and a mom of two. She specializes in working with women and mothers experiencing trauma, anxiety, rage, and postpartum mood disorders. Emily is certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). 

Emily’s approach to therapy is holistic, considering each individual’s mental, physical, and emotional health in a unified way. Therapy with Emily is warm, collaborative, and personalized. She believes in the power of warmth and humor while navigating through the hard stuff. Emily’s goal is to create an intentional and safe place for women and mothers to feel validated and empowered to cultivate the life they deserve.

Emily accepts CareFirst and BlueCross BlueShield. Those with other insurance plans may be eligible to use out-of-network benefits. Emily works with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions.

Please note that if you use out-of-network benefits, you will be responsible for paying each session in full at time of appointment.
